Privacy policy

The short version: we collect what we need to answer you and keep this site running, we don’t sell it, and you can ask us to delete it.

Who we are

This website, sentigate.cloud, is run by SentiGate Inc., a company registered in the Republic of Panama under registration number 155786393, with its registered office at 55th Street East, P.H. SL55 Building, Floor 21, Suite 3, Panama City, Republic of Panama. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean SentiGate Inc.

This policy covers information collected through this website and the messages you send us. How we process traffic for customers who use our DDoS protection services is covered by our customer agreements.

What we collect

  • Things you tell us. When you email us, we receive what you write: usually your name, email address, company, the domains or networks you want to protect and your message.
  • Basic technical data. Like most websites, our servers log requests: IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. We use these logs to keep the site secure and fix problems.
  • Your theme choice. If you switch between light and dark mode, your browser remembers it locally. That setting never leaves your device.

We don’t use advertising cookies or third-party tracking on this site. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers to download them.

How we use it

  • To reply to your questions and send you quotes you asked for.
  • To help you during an attack when you contact our NOC.
  • To keep this website secure and working.
  • To meet legal obligations that apply to us.

We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t add you to marketing lists you didn’t sign up for.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the business, such as email and hosting providers, and only as much as they need to do their job. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your messages for as long as we need them to respond and to manage our relationship with you, and then for a reasonable period afterwards. Server logs are kept for a limited time and then deleted.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it or delete it. Write to privacy@sentigate.cloud and we’ll get back to you.

Security

Protecting things from attackers is our day job, and we apply the same care to the information you send us. No system is perfect, though, so please don’t send us passwords or other secrets by email.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we’ll make them clear on the website.

Under attack

Let’s get you behind the gate.

This is what happens next.

  1. Write to our NOC. Put “URGENT” in the subject and tell us what’s being hit: a domain, an IP or a whole prefix, and roughly when it started.
  2. An engineer replies with a plan. For a website this is a DNS change and usually a new origin IP that the attackers don’t know yet. For a network it’s a Letter of Authorization, route objects and a GRE tunnel, so we can announce your prefix from our edge.
  3. The flood hits our gates instead of you. Once traffic flows through SentiGate, we tune the filters with you while the attack is still going.

Quick tip: if you run your own DNS, check the TTL on the record you’ll be changing. The shorter it is, the faster the switch to SentiGate takes effect.
